The Food Program Supervisor works with the food team, volunteers, and clients at our no cost food assistance markets. Hopelink provides food assistance to mitigate hunger and support basic food security for low-income households in North and East King County.
The Food Program Supervisor provides coordination of the food program at a specific center; provides guidance, direction, and supervision to volunteer staff. Responsible for weekly ordering of fresh and non-perishable food from multiple sources, maintains Hopelink Markets inventory and overall cleanliness of the markets. The Grant Writer works independently to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward potential grant sources on behalf of Hopelink’s programs and services.
In partnership with the Development Director of Giving, the Grant Writer will strategically engage with current and potential funders, with the goal of working toward the agency’s mission, department strategic planning and goals. This position will possess a strong understanding of agency programs, projects and associated funding needs. This role is under the supervision of the Development Director, Giving, and is a member of Hopelink’s Development department.

The Development Coordinator – Operations provides administrative support to the Development team. This role will provide administrative and operational support to the Development team by supporting team activities; scheduling meetings, preparing materials, maintaining supplies, assisting with various fundraising/donor events, appeals, mailings, backup data entry, management of department SOPs and policies as well as special projects as assigned. The role gets to work with everyone on the team and potentially closely with Marketing & Communications. Attention to detail a must for this role.
The Development Coordinator provides responsive and positive customer service to internal staff as well as volunteers, donors, and community members. The ideal candidate will bring a basic knowledge of fundraising, thrives in a fast-paced environment, is committed to teamwork, and is able to adapt to changing priorities. Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to complete administrative work with a high degree of accuracy is a must.
This position will report to the Director of Development, Operations.
