Geoff Crump is Appointed as Hopelink CEO

Hopelink is thrilled to announce the appointment of Geoff Crump, a 10+ year veteran of the organization, as our Chief Executive Officer. The selection was made by Hopelink’’s Board of Directors, following a several month search led by a CEO Selection Committee that included current and former Board members and a staff advisor. Geoff’s appointment follows his successful term as our interim CEO, a position he held since fall 2023.

Geoff brings decades of nonprofit C-suite leadership experience to the position – previously serving as CEO for Olympic Community Action Programs and Chief Operating Officer for Hopelink. Under his leadership as COO, Hopelink significantly grew its operations – continually expanding the organization’s impact in addressing poverty in the community. This leadership and work saw Hopelink’s budget grow from $58.8 million in 2015 to $100+ million for fiscal year 2025. His stewardship of this fiscal growth allowed for the development of new departments including Organizational Excellence, EDI and Community Affairs, and the Board’s new Social Enterprise Committee to improve and increase client service.

As CEO, Geoff is responsible for overseeing Hopelink’s 2023 – 2025 Strategic Plan, which maps the agency’s development in four key areas: Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), Resources, Programs, and Organizational Transformation. The plan is focused on developing Hopelink’s internal infrastructure to provide greater opportunity, equity, and a trauma-informed approach to every service area – with an emphasis in housing, case management, food, energy assistance, and transportation – all areas crucial to addressing the symptoms of poverty in King and Snohomish Counties

Geoff is supported by an experienced leadership team with deep local roots, including interim COO Meghan Altimore who assumed her role in December of 2023 and will celebrate 20 years with Hopelink this summer.

Including Geoff and Meghan, Hopelink is steered by a nine-person leadership committee and 17 organizational directors who possess a breadth of talent and expertise in community services, transportation, financial strategy, EDI, fundraising, operations, and more, as well as diverse lived experiences with poverty.

Geoff began his journey with Hopelink in 2004, when he served as a Rural Connections Program Manager. He then served in several progressive roles with HopeSource in Ellensburg, eventually leading all programs and administrative departments as COO. In 2012, Geoff was appointed Chief Executive Officer at Olympic Community Action Programs (OlyCAP), revitalizing the organization’s internal infrastructures, financial footing, programs, and community relationships. He returned to Hopelink in 2015, accepting the COO position which he held until September 2023.

Crump holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Central Washington University and an MBA from Marylhurst University. He lives in Sammamish with his wife of 16 years, Natalie, and their daughters Lucille (11) and Eleanor (5).

As CEO, Geoff succeeds Dr. Catherine Cushinberry, who served from 2021 to 2023.
