Back to school supplies at no-cost
Many of our partner school districts are working with community organizations to host Back-to-School events, where students and families can receive school supplies and other resources. We encourage families with kids that attend school in those school districts to connect with and attend these Hopelink sponsored district events whenever possible.
- Lake Washington School District is hosting a Back-to-School Jam on Aug. 22nd
12:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. at Juanita High School - Skykomish School District is distributing supplies during their summer BBQ 3rd week of August. Families can reach out to Allison Luker at aluker@skykomish.wednet.edu or 425-293-2919
- Snoqualmie and Riverview School Districts has a back-to-school Event – SnoValley School District + EYN on August 19th 3:30 P.M. – 5:30 P.M. at Panorama Apartments: 9624 Frontier Ave Se, Snoqualmie, WA
For students K-12 who attend school in either the Lake Washington School District, Riverview School District, Skykomish School District, or Snoqualmie School District who are unable to attend a district event or may have missed the opportunity to receive supplies, the Redmond, Kirkland, and Sno-Valley markets will offer a limited number of pre-filled backpacks.
August 24th – September 3rd
Locations: Participating food markets in Redmond, Kirkland, and Sno-Valley
Who it’s for: Students K-12 who attend school in either the Lake Washington School District, Riverview School District, Skykomish School District, or Snoqualmie School District who were unable to attend a district distribution event or did not receive supplies through those channels
