Doris is the Deputy Mayor of the City of Shoreline. She has served on the Shoreline City Council since 2008. Before the City Council, she worked as a Real Estate Agent and as a Computer Room Supervisor at Boeing.
Hortensia also had the opportunity to serve on St. Louise Parish Pastoral Council as the Hispanic Liaison for three years. She was also the Co-Chair of the Bellevue School District Parent Advisory Council of Parents of Color for over three years.
