Frequently Asked Questions & Tips to Enjoy the Evening

Hopelink staff and volunteers work to make every event inclusive, welcoming, and fun! We have some information below about how our event is accessible to all. When you register for the event, please include any accommodation requests. Our team may reach out for further details to better assist you.

  • Event check-in will take place in the main hall of the Columbia Collective. There are steps as well as a wheelchair accessible ramp to the main event area.
  • Wheelchair accessible parking will be available close to the venue in the main parking lot, allowing for immediate access to the main event area.
  • The event will take place mainly indoors. There are a few covered outdoor spaces, where guests may congregate as they socialize during the reception and post event celebration. Some of these spaces are only accessible by stairs.
  • Restrooms will be located in the main event area, including accessible restrooms.
  • If you require assistance locating the restrooms, a Hopelink staff member will be available in the main event area.
  • Musicians will be performing live in the outside area of the main event space during the post event celebration. Music will be at a low to medium level and will be shared through speakers in any outdoor areas.

Celebrating its 13th year, Farm Fresh Feast is one of Hopelink’s signature fundraising events. Guests gather for a lively evening featuring a thoughtfully prepared meal by Herban Feast, specially curated wines, and an auction filled with unique items and experiences. The evening also highlights Hopelink’s programs, and guests will be invited to make a meaningful gift to support our work and invest in the success of our neighbors.

No, we are excited to host the event entirely in person, there will not be an option for participating virtually.

The Silent, Grand Silent, and Live Auctions are filled with exciting and unique items and experiences for guests to bid on…and enjoy if they win! Donors will bid for silent auction items using the traditional method of pen and bid sheet printed on paper, there is not an online component. Guests will be given a bid card to use for live bidding. There will also be a pre-event grand silent auction item that guests can bid on in a lively atmosphere. The Grand Silent and Live Auction will be conducted by Chris Cashman, Fundraising Auctioneer and Angela Poe Russell, Emcee.

A highlight of the evening is the opportunity for guests to raise their paddles and “Make a Difference” in support of Hopelink’s programs and services. This moment is always especially powerful, as we reflect on how your generosity can positively impact the lives of our neighbors and strengthen the entire community.

Guests will delight in a thoughtful menu crafted by the culinary team of Herban Feast, paired with specially curated wines to complement each course. When you register, you will be asked to select a beef, seafood, or vegetarian/vegan entrée. Please include any food allergies in your registration so we can work with you to ensure you safely enjoy the evening.

Attire: Please feel free to dress for your comfort and the weather. As a mainly indoor spring event, spring cocktail attire (flowy sundresses, khaki pants, button down shirts, etc) is encouraged. You’ll definitely want to leave your formal dinner jacket at home! The venue is mainly all wood flooring or concrete, very minimal time spent in any grassy areas.

Transportation: Self-parking will be available. However, we also encourage guests to consider carpooling, using a rideshare service, or arranging for a designated driver.
