Building resiliency is a cornerstone of a family’s ability to avoid falling back into crisis when problems occur. This looks different for each person served by Hopelink. It could mean earning a GED, getting a job, finding a safe place to live or developing financial literacy skills and knowledge.

Hopelink programs are designed to first meet a family’s basic needs – food, shelter and short-term financial assistance. Once the immediate crisis has been addressed, the road to self-sufficiency is smoothed by Hopelink’s tools to exit poverty—case management, education, employment assistance and training resources.
