Since 1971, Hopelink has served homeless and low-income families, children, seniors and people with disabilities in the north and east King County, WA. With service centers in Redmond, Bellevue, Kirkland, Shoreline and Sno-Valley (Carnation), we are the largest nonprofit organization in the area. Hopelink programs and services focus on five key areas: food, financial assistance, housing & family development, adult education & employment and transportation/mobility. Programs are aimed at helping people achieve stability, and helping them gain the skills and knowledge they need to exit poverty for good.

Hopelink has immediate openings for DART Community and Shuttle drivers throughout King County at our Kent and Kirkland, WA location. This position will operate days, evenings and weekends on a fixed route with a flexible service area.

Get paid while you train for a new career in driving!

As a subcontractor working with King County Metro, Hopelink will pay your wages and training onsite in preparation for your CDL Class C with passenger endorsement license. Applicants with CDL A/B/C passenger endorsements are encouraged to apply!

To be eligible, you must be...

  • Be at least 21 years old at the time you apply and able to lift and pull up to 40 pounds
  • Hold a valid Washington driver’s license, and have the ability to obtain a CDL Learner’s Permit with Passenger Endorsement
  • Have a minimum of two years of experience providing customer service to the general public
  • Have an acceptable driving record at the time of offer
  • Any of the following violations within the last five years will automatically disqualify you from consideration:
  • Reckless or negligent driving
  • DWI/DUI (driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs)
  • Hit-and-run incident
  • Vehicular homicide or vehicular assault
  • Open container citation
  • More than one “at fault” accident within the past year
  • Suspended license for moving violations
  • Reliable transportation to report on-time to work
  • Be able to speak and write in English
  • Verifiable acceptable work history and employment references

Summary: The Customer Service Representative works closely with clients over the telephone in a nonprofit call center environment to determine eligibility for transportation and other services. Join a team of co-workers passionate about Hopelink’s vision to end poverty and promote self-sufficiency for all members of our community.
The Customer Service Representative accurately configures account information in the database, and develops an appropriate solution with the client to meet to their needs. Serves as first level of client complaint resolution.

Summary: The Director of Training, Evaluation and Excellence (TEE) will build a department designed to support all agency business units in achieving excellence through: trauma-informed targeted training, strong evaluation integrated into all key agency functions, and the implementation of a quality management system. Serves as an ambassador to the staff to encourage participation and enthusiasm at all levels around high-quality training, data-driven evaluation, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Responsible for the development of an agency-wide training plan, organizing all staff and position-specific training requirements. Partners with IT and Development/Communication teams to utilize data to analyze operational and service-level data to drive all key agency decisions and external messaging.
The Director will implement a comprehensive quality management system to maximize efficiency, effectiveness and the highest quality customer experience throughout the organization.

Summary: The Seattle Off-Site Hospital Transportation Coordinator (OTC) works with Seattle’s largest hospitals onsite. The OTC manages reservations and screening online and over the phone and has direct interaction with Hopelink’s subcontracted service providers. The OTC will work directly with the public and will be stationed primarily at facilities contracting with Hopelink for on-site services. The OTC position will also rotate through the Bellevue Transportation office.
Candidates with experience in medical offices, hospitals, patient intake, healthcare insurance or patient care are encouraged to apply!

Summary: The (ON DEMAND) Shuttle Van Driver provides safe, courteous and on-time transportation to customers in vans, minibuses or small buses, adhering to traffic regulations and maintaining schedules/routes. The driver communicates respectfully while providing excellent customer service to passengers. The Shuttle Van Driver must meet these qualifications:
• Be at least 21 years old at the time you apply
• Hold a valid Washington driver’s license, have a minimum of two years of experience providing customer service to the general public
• Have an acceptable good standing driving record at the time of offer
• Have reliable transportation to work
• Be able to speak and write in English
• Have an acceptable work history and employment reference and good driver's record

Summary:The Case Manager provides assessment, advocacy, referrals and other support services to low income families in transitional housing. Summary: Hopelink is in search of an Automotive Service Technician who is driven and brings a strong work ethic to the team! This position will perform work in the diagnosis, repair and service of automobiles, medium and heavy-duty trucks, buses and related equipment with gasoline and diesel engines. This role is also responsible for preventive maintenance inspections and related repairs.
