Mandatory closures have devastated the restaurant and entertainment industries (among many others), leaving thousands and thousands of people who live paycheck to paycheck with no source of income. As a result we are expecting a significant increase in the need for emergency financial assistance. Normally community members donate 80 percent of the food we give to Hopelink clients. Now we purchase that food rather than accept donations to limit the potential for virus transmission. Many of you have stepped up as a community and asked how you can help, whether through financial contributions or volunteer efforts. We can’t thank you enough for your generosity and concern for members of this community. And here’s how you can help.
Cash donations provide greater flexibility in responding to client needs as they change during this crisis.
Please continue to check back in. We will update information on this page as needs arise or change in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
