With the Hopelink Harvest season nearly upon us, our annual Glean to Give event series is back. This unique volunteer opportunity is a wonderful chance for you and your friends and family to help Hopelink glean a portion of the more than 20,000 pounds of fresh produce that we receive from our community partners every year. All those fresh fruits and vegetables go directly from the farms and gardens to our Food Markets, giving Hopelink clients access to fresh, healthy produce.
Last year’s Glean to Give was a great success, and this year there are four opportunities for you, and your family and friends to join us at Food Bank Farm in Snohomish. The dates are:
As always, Hopelink will adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines, as advised by the CDC. To that end, all gleans will be limited to 10 people, but because the event will be outdoors, masks will not be required.
Space is limited, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’re interested in participating, please email Sara Sherrard at firstname.lastname@example.org. I hope you will be able to participate in this fun, rewarding, and unique way of supporting our community!
