                 We live in an individualistic consumer culture, but we are built for and called to Community.

                 Christians, through Love and Service, are to reweave the fabric of this torn city – to build a

                 city within the city of Atlanta!  You cannot be “a city on a hill” by yourself!

                 As Christians, our response to the Free Grace we have received from God is to join His Mission

                of healing and restoring all of Creation!

Atlanta is filled with existing Faith-Based Ministries in need

 

of Christian volunteers to help them achieve their missions.

 

                There are wonderfully diverse Christian Ministries dedicated to Serving within Atlanta.  These organizations

                need help from the city’s larger community of Christians.

Atlanta is filled with Christians who sincerely wish to Serve

 

others but are inhibited or blocked by various barriers.

 

                These barriers include a lack of available time, a lack of knowledge about Service opportunities, a lack of

                proximity to need, etc.

HopeLink exists to REMOVE BARRIERS to Service.

 

                1. We link Christians with existing Ministries so that anyone can easily find Service Opportunities

                    that fit any amount of time available and any desired type of Service.

 

                2. We train these volunteers before they Serve so that they are able to provide the highest possible

                    impact within the time available while utilizing as few of the Ministry’s resources as possible.

HopeLink feels a responsibility to DRAW Christians into Service

 

               We feel that it is not our role to be the Holy Spirit in the lives of Christians (we are not qualified for that job!).

               We work to communicate the excitement of joining God’s Mission!
